30 October 2015
The Consorzio del Vino Nobile will be at Fuori Expo as the World Fair draws to a close between 30 October and 1 November, participating in the "Any taste of Tuscany - La Toscana a Milano" event, alongside other preeminent Tuscan producers. The Vino Nobile will be among the wines available for tasting at this prestigious event in the Chiostri dell'Umanitaria (Via Francesco Daverio, 7, Milan), Tuscany's exhibition centre in the city. The event features Tuscany's principal DOCG wines, on the occasion of Milan hosting 2015's World Fair.
The program starts on Friday 30 October with tastings and a cooking show, followed by God Save the Wine - an innovative wine-tasting format - in the evening, between 7.00pm and 11.00pm. Things pick up again at 11 o'clock on the morning of Saturday 31 October, when the tasting tables are opened to the public. At 4.00pm the celebrated wine critic Daniele Cernilli will lead a tasting of the leading Tuscan DOCG wines, including the Vino Nobile. The HalloWine party follows in the evening, celebrating Halloween until 11.00pm. The program wraps up on Sunday 1 November with tasting tables until 6.00pm, and a themed brunch served from 11.30am to 3.30pm.
The Vino Nobile is still being featured in the wine pavilion at the World Fair: over the last six months Montepulciano producers have taken turns to display their wines.
