My idea of wine-making is a combination of the knowledge of our past with modern know-how while respecting nature. A balanced, rational and carefully considered process which I call organic awareness.
With a reduced use of chemicals we produce a traditional wine which is always the maximum expression of the vintage and terroir.

“A combination of the knowledge of our past with modern know-how while respecting nature”, this, in broad terms, is our idea of wine-making.
The wine estate Croce di Febo produces a traditional local wine with limited use of chemical and synthetic products, which is the maximum expression of its vintage and terroir. The term terroir indicates not only the characteristics of the soil or a specific pedoclimate, but the influence of the individual wine grower’s choices and personality on the natural setting, the vineyard, and on vinification.
We pursue a natural and rational approach, without involving over-complicated philosophical arguments or misleading concepts. This is what we call organic awareness.
