Le Bertille
Le Bertille is a young and dynamic family company based in Montepulciano. It was established in 2001 and covers an area of 22 hectares, 12 of which are planted to vineyards. The grape varieties cultivated represent the most traditional of the area: Prugnolo gentile, Ciliegiolo, Colorino and Canaiolo, besides a small part of Merlot. Accurate management of the vineyards, summer pruning, bunch thinning and selective harvesting allow for a limited production of high quality. Le Bertille currently produces about 70,000 bottles of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG and IGT Toscana Rosso "L'Attesa". All of these wines have a highly typical territorial print.
The production philosophy is based on the memory of the Nobile di Montepulciano produced in the '70s and' 80s: a wine with an unforgettable bouquet, elegant and fresh. The estate includes a centuries - old olive groves and a lake, oasis for migrating herons. The historical buildings have been carefully renovated with the original tuscan taste and now include the beautiful Agriturismo San Gallo (www.agriturismosangallo.com)
